Edited: for easy reference, what I ordered, based on previous process that was similar, BUT limiting front to the extension of brake lines and perceived DS bind.

Front
768mm (30.23") extended
455mm (17.90") compressed
313mm (12.33") shock travel

Front coils as noted by tag and my measurements.

PLEASE NOTE. I DID NOT HAVE A MICROMETER, so will remeasure the bar when I get it home

**DS Marked 605 **
Free Length - 24"
(Balance will be added)

**PS Marked 590 **
Free Length- 23.5"
(Balance will be added)

Something's bound on the front.

It's not the driveshaft, as I first thought, since it still spins, doesn't appear to be the arms, not the tie rod hitting housing (can't turn wheels, obviously) so best guess is its the steering link and pan hard.

Sound right?

yep, they are normally the limiting factor.

For simplicity for you,

section open on road to be 1" shorter.

Section closed on road to be 1"" taller.

Did I finally go off the deep end and lose the interest of participants?

Be interested to know if anyone may have the free length and static height of a given coil, by name, and done weight basis to compare to.

My first round of custom coils has ended with a
:flipoff2: so on to developing further, a plan to address.

Can't believe no one said anything about the brake line limit strap either.

If I said yes would you hold it against me? :flipoff2:

Hahaha. Yes.

Hey, you literally just installed coils on a stock LX, right?

If I find the info on one of your fifty three active threads :flipoff2: , think I could ask a favor and measure the static height of the individual coils?

It's easy to measure, but you'll have to get on your knees........wait! That won't be a problem at all!!!

Thought nothing of it. Figured you'd just replace it with SS and call it a day :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::cheers:

These replaced the stainless.

Yeah, I can do that. Get on my knees I mean...for you. With a measuring tape. So I can measure...

Careful when Joey measures he starts at the taint! So always subtract a few inches from what he says.

He would be after a meal, not a snack, at this time of day though, Chris. :hhmm: :grinpimp: :princess: :flipoff2:

Sheet, I'm hugely Italian, so snack-time is a fair sized portion.

I'll start a new thread in Chat, before this is deleted or The Gup posts "Chat Bitches", titled
"Extended, Compressed, Static Dimensions and Mathematical Theory Required to get ANALXTACY on his Knees" for fun.
