BLUF: What parts are high-value, discontinued, and relatively light/easy to pull from a junked trunk before it gets sent to salvage?

A guy wants to sell me a 91 FJ80 that's been sitting for 13 years for $350 (the scrap yard's offer). Sadly, although he's the original owner, he let it go and the body and frame are rusted beyond what I would consider trying to restore. The interior is moldy and chewed up by mice. Since I have an FZJ, there's not a lot I can use from the driveline, however, there are some glass and interior bits I could use.

I'd love to properly recycle anything that can still be used, but I'm not in a position to take the whole thing and do a complete part-out. So my question is this: if I can talk the guy into letting me spend a few hours pulling stuff before it goes to salvage, what are the high-reward parts? I'm thinking things like ECU, gauge cluster, door modules, window regulators, interior bits, etc. General plan would be to just grab whatever I can pull and throw in the back of my truck.

Thanks in advance.

Unless you're short on room or a way to tow it, buy it from him, pull off what you need at your leisure, and then recoup your $350 by taking what's left to the scrapyard.

Yeah, the problem is I'm visiting my Mom in Indiana on my way out to Colorado for a new job, and I found the truck here. I'm not sure how often I'll be back and she doesn't really want any new "lawn ornaments." But yeah that does make sense I could just call up a scrap yard at any time to have it hauled off if she gets tired of mowing around it, haha

Scroll through the discontinued parts thread but I'd assume all the interior stuff is worth saving. There are definitely some 3RE engine parts that have been discontinued. Not sure I'd bother holding the block. Like always comes down to time verse reward.

Thermostat housing I think....

Where in Indiana?

depending on time it could be worth pulling the head/manifolds/intake/injection bits to sell as a 2fe kit.

How much would you want for an ECU and a driver side window motor shipped to az?
