Hey group. I changed my oil today with ZR1 (zinc) 20-50 my oil pressure gauge is basically sitting by the ”H” is the 20-50 too thick? Should I be concerned? I did see a drop of oil on my driveway, which I have never seen befire ( if you can believe it) did I mess up my rear main bc of the high pressure? Am I freaking out? Should I change it and put 10-30? Thanks for the help

this week has sucked on my cruisers :) I still love them

the F series engines motor oil Viscosity Charts in the glove BOX owners manuals have basically remained un-changed ( give or take 5 degrease C. ) from 1962-1998

your climate and time of year are the 2 main factors ,

anyone who states 20W-50 Conventual or Fully synthetic is wrong or too thick , should not be considered a form of correct information on this topic .

- i live east coast mid Atlantic region near DC , i run 20W-50 Fully Synthetic Valvoline in spring , summer , and fall ,

- i mix 20W-50 and 10W40 Fully Synthetic Valvoline in the cold winter months , this is correct toyota paper print media tech ..

- running anything thinner Viscosity such as 10W-30 , in the warm months in the lower 48 is fundamentally wrong and will cause pre-mature internal engine moving parts wear factor ....

- my FJ62LG-PNEK 3F-E has new modern catalytic converters on it , YOU CANNOT use a ZDDP / ZINC rich formula if u still run Cats ...

- it will clog them , and destroy there flow rate
