1987 FJ60 oil pressure gage

Hi I'm looking at an oil pressure gage on a 1987 FJ60. The needle lies on the bottom of the gage (0 PSI), key on engine off, and engine running.

and then when I remove the wire from the sender and ground it, the gage goes up almost to the top

engine off the sender measures 45 ohms to ground, engine idling sender measures 30 ohms to ground. I am wondering if anyone knows what the measurements should be to have this oil pressure gage show normally? Thanks!

Likely the sending wire to the gauge was hooked to the ground on the sending unit instead of the tab. Gauge now needs to be replaced and wire hook up at sending unit properly connected.
