Got the truck back today. T minus 3 weeks to finish.....holy crap!

Fuel vent lines run, check out the work Jimmy did on the rear quarters

Bedliner sprayed under the hood.

t-minus 16 days to deadline....I hate deadlines....

Rebuilt the heater boxes, got the dash all wired up. Tailgate latch in dialed in.

A beautiful face, no?

T minus 14 days....

only got 4 hours in today...

Rubber seals across the radiator support

Polishing up some trim

Making gaskets, cleaning up light fixtures

repainted the horns, glued the heater hoses. Trying to fix the cracked and trashed elbows. Looks like it might work.

Taking the wheels off tomorrow, getting the rims painted body white, then BFG Mud Terrains. 33x10.5's

I hope one of these days the 55's will be more popular so you could actually get your $ back out of a resto like this!

I'm probly alone on this but I think the 55's are the best looking Land Cruisers ever built!!! Great work!!! It almost brings a tear to my eye!

Pewter Metallic. Darker than stock, but I thought it looked better with the Nordic Blue.

Heater hoses turned out great..

rear seat latch..

Chrome is okay, I need to repaint the backgrounds.

Fuel vents and hoses are done and buttoned up.

Brake Booster and Master in and hard lined..Rebuilt the carb today, 5 hours!

New heater hoses installed, all firewall items bolted up and ready to roll

Dashboard is done? I think

looks good! the dash is missing the piece under the radio area correct? supposed to span between the cluster housing and glove compartment along the bottom of the dash

Correct. I have been unable to locate a new one, and the old one is nothing but rotted foam, any leads?

11 days to go....must finish truck....running out of time.....

Anyway, I think the weatherstrip adhesive is getting to me.....

But, progress for the day was fair, I got both passenger doors rebuilt, except for door panels. Windows are in and work great, new felt, seals, and rubber...except the magical mystical rear door quarter window rubber....(man, compared to the rest of the truck, sure looks crappy)
