Well then...what are the old small tires. Might be able to use them.

4 Yokohama Geolander AT’s. Can’t remember the exact size, they are at the shop so I’ll confirm tomorrow. Something like 265/70’s, maybe a little bigger. One has a plug but has held air since I bought the 80. Lots of tread left.

Haha don’t worry about off topic pal!! This whole thread is pretty much been way off topic since it’s inception. At one time this thread was called: TIT- The Innuendo Thread.

As far as what’s next I really don’t know. I wanna get another set of sliders in the works. My brother in law made the set for my green 80 and I loved em. Gotta get with him and buy some more metal. Other than that my maintenance list needs some attention.

I’m gonna have to start back on page one and catch up then haha.

Sliders that’s always a good plan I’m hoping to work on that in the future as well. Maintenance lists are usually a good thing to get done but sliders sound more fun. :hillbilly:

So I’ve been wavering back and forth between a scangauge and an ultra gauge for about 2 years and I decided to go with neither LOL. Ended up getting a WIFI obd2 scanner and pairing it up to an old iPhone I had and running OBD Fusion. The PO had butchered up my ashtray cubby for some odd reason so I made a delete blank and mounted a cheap phone mount to it. The Pioneer head unit will allow a charge cord to be plugged in so I can just leave the phone hooked up and not use the cigarette lighter. Really pleased with how it turned out.

That looks really good.

I am planning to use an old iPhone for a gps speedo on the 40.

I’m assuming that since you are using the headunit cord then it will only be charging when the vehicle is keyed ‘on’? I need to wire in something similar that is switched power since I won’t be using a headunit.

Correct John, mine will only be powered when the key is on.

The scanner I used is the Veepeak VP01. Stupid easy to set up

Does your radio support the iDataLink Maestro module?

I thought about using the head unit and may end up going that route. The main reason I went with the iPhone was to cover up the gaping hole in where the ashtray went LOL. That and I have a plethora of old iPhones. Maybe at the meet and great I can pick your brain a little about setting it up with the radio? I am definitely not good with technology, setting up the scanner and iPhone made me feel like a code writer LOL

@fj40z ..... you won’t do it... :hillbilly:

I’ll take it a step farther as well seems like a crowd that can handle it ... no balls...

Oh you’re right, I won’t do it!! My skill set or lack there of won’t allow it, my balls wont be the hindrance LOL.

My biggest hindrance is my wallet :hillbilly:
