Send it to WIX freight collect.
Can't say how glad I am that you're up and running again. SUCH GOOD NEWS. This has been weighing on you for some time. I hate how much stress this rig has caused .... so I'm prepared to offer $2000 (too soon?)
Anyway, really happy for you.
On my list of chores today .... oil change. I've had to think long and hard about what that means based on this thread and Stephen's struggles. WIX has been good to me for many years and developed a reputation in the race community as being the best filter with the least restriction. I hope Stephen's engine failure wasn't filter related and will hope, in the event that it was, it was a one-in-a-million event. What I dislike the most is WIX not coming to the plate with $$$ to help Stephen, if only in good faith. Still, had it been any other filter company I see them behaving the same way.
So today's filter will be another 51515 and I will (as I should always) be diligent about watching pressures.
Again, Stephen, thumbs up man!

@jfz80 has already made me an offer of $2100
I'm glad Wix has been good to someone cause they certainly weren't good to me. There's no doubt in my mind that they do make some of the best filters on the market that's why I used them. I've even posted up in 80's tech telling others to use them when someone would ask which filter to buy. I do have a problem though with a company that tells me a part of the oil filter was left out during the assembly process, goes through their quality control process without being detected, and there is a very good chance that's what lead to my oil starvation. That's not just my opinion but what I was also told by a sales rep. Then to be told because it was the "wrong" filter and I had cut it open they would do nothing. I personally cannot support a business like that no matter how good their products are.
Ground loop probably. read here:Yeah super excited to be driving it!
Only thing I need to figure out after the swap is im getting a lot of engine interference over my radio. Anyone got any ideas where to start the search for the cause? Head unit is a double din Pioneer.
