I've spent a lot of time in the Maze District in my '84 FJ60, it's one of my favorite areas in canyon country.
I also spent all kinds of time in the Maze and the Needles back in the early 90’s. Pre permit!

One of my favorites also; spent a lot of time there in the 70's, though I drove a Ford F-250 then, not a Cruiser.

My roommate drove his Ford F250 on most of our trips to Utah, with me in the '84 FJ60. He owned a white FJ62 for a while and took it on at least one of our trips. We were avid rock climbers back then, so we had the equipment and skills to negotiate the most rugged slot canyons. After a particularly rugged trip down Gravel Canyon we said "Is this all you can throw at us?"

I like this sign. Last time we were there years ago the sign was still standing near the top of the descent down into White Canyon. After our first descent through the Black Hole one of our friends told us it was the most demanding physical experience since Marine boot camp.

I would have rotated that hood ornament.
