Agree on ACC. They just replaced the box, and all of the power steering components, on mine. Top notch work.ACC Toyota. I believe they’re on i20 west of Atlanta.
Thank you. I was hoping to avoid the I285 racetrack in my 50mph FJ40. We need someone qualified on the north side of town.Agree on ACC. They just replaced the box, and all of the power steering components, on mine. Top notch work.

Years ago, Peter installed my power steering (mini truck version) into my FJ40. Great guy to deal with.
Yes, Merriam Automotive - 3568 Buford Hwy # 105, Ste 105, Duluth, GA, 30096I just bought a 1976 FJ40. It was restored about 10 years ago. I really need someone to take a look at the carb. It is running rich plus I want someone to give it a once over.....Timming, plugs, carb adjust...etc.
I just moved to Jasper and dont really want to go to ACC because traveling on I285.
I saw someone you name Peter Mirriam. Is that the place on Buford Highway?
Peter helped me out and was good. You might also want to reach out to Speed Auto (Alpharetta location - (770) 751-7074) and engage their tech named Jeremy. He installed a sniper for me and my ‘82 runs awesome now. I had multiple conversations with him before having him do the job so I would feel I comfortable that he knew what he was doing. He’s legit and might know some people more up your way.
Those of us in North Atlanta need to get together!
Thanks for all the information. If you done mind me asking....how much did you have in your Sniper install? I think I read you need the Holly Sniper kit, Hei distributor, Some misc parts for the install that I think Red Line Cruisers sells.Peter helped me out and was good. I bought some items from Redline cruisers and they are a great group of guys. I’m also planning on running a sniper kit once I get a coolant leak taking care of.Thanks for all the information. And Yes once I get this 40 running good we should meet up sometime and talk LC's
Yep, I believe he doesNon-40 owner infiltrating...
Does the group know if Merriam works on later models as well? I've got an 80 I'd like to get a few maintenance items knocked off the list that I've been staring at and a 200 that just needs the typical intervals. I live up towards the mountains, but my office is down the road in Lawrenceville. Could be a perfect match...
Thanks,
Tyler

I didn't even know of Yota Atlanta. I'll have to see if I can make it down south some time.
