I believe 1965 was the first year to drop the manufacture year prefix. This 8/64 plate may have been an early 1965 production. Any pics of the truck?

The 40 series registry and the VIN plate examples I've found support that as well. The 8/64 plate is from this thread, described as a junkyard tub.

A little late to this party....but I thought I would add a photo of my Engine Adjustment decal for a 1/68 FJ40 (from Australia). Same blue colour as the '67 decal but same info as the white '68 decal.

Cheers

Made In Japan Decal

To satisfy US import requirements, completed Land Cruisers were tagged with this decal to identify Japan as the country of origin. For such a widely used decal there are very few examples.

This 1975 FJ40 includes the decal on the driver sides, rear corner glass. (sloanstavern)

By 1983, the decal was located on the passenger side windshield and uses slightly different verbiage. (LandCruiserNation)

On another 1983 FJ40. (LandCruiserNation)

The sticker is still in use much later; here it is on the driver side window of this 1998, 100 series Land Cruiser. (bctlex)

The decal also appears on replacement windshields. A newer sticker on this March 1973 FJ40.

Do you have a part number of this sticker? Or someone that makes it?
