So I was browsing the local auto auction looking for salvage trucks and I see down the list 77' Landcruiser.... hmmm So I click the link expecting to see a clapped out pile of rust.....nope
This is EXACTLY like it sat at the auction since Febuary.
I got it to the shop last night only to find out that there was NO mechanical damage to the truck, just a dead battery and a bad plug wire.
I cleaned it up, changed the fluids and threw a battery in it and it runs awesome!!
I mostly have been a mini truck guy so this is a little new to me.
from what I can tell it has had some nice work done to it.
SOA, relocated P/S box, "Cut and Turn" on the front axle with later ends,
Chevy 350/7004r and a stock T-case (from the looks of it I'm not too sure)
It also has a Vintage Air AC system in it that blows cold!!
35" BFG MT's
M/T 15X10 wheels with a NEW full size spare in the back.
The diffs are open, and I am not sure on the gearing (have to pull the rear cover)
The interior is in VERY nice shape, the guys at the auction did not even find the nice Pioneer CD player in the glove box.
The paperwork on it said that is was a Donation for tax purposes from a Non Profit org.
I searched the VIN on a few sites to see if it was in any registry of any kind with no luck.
The VIN FJ-5574804
Someone may have passed away and the family donated it..?? Who knows.
Just happy it has a good home now!!!
I would also like to find out of the History of this truck if anyone knows anything that would be great.
It came from the Bend, Oregon area
