Those are new 63" Chevy springs from a 1/2 ton truck. The 63" 3/4 ton Chevy truck springs have one more leaf.

Looking at your springs you only have 2 leafs is that going to be enough after you load up the tool box and a full tank of fuel or are you going to add another leaf or two.

Mr. Dan you are running only 3 leaves rear .. and in front .?

In the front I think there are 7 per side. I will double check.

Dan the trucks looking really good. What size and how did you secure the belting in the fenders? If your interested I'll send you some belting you'll like even better. (rubber both sides, no gloss finish). Keep up the good work.

It took all night for my jaw to find its way back up to my face....This truck is too cool for school....Dan IS the man!

LOL

Thanks

Nice to meet you!

You are one of the very very few who have seen it in person in it's current state of progress.

My neighbors don't count. :D

Started on the front engine skirting.

Tabs welded on, first skirt cut and ready to install.

I'm not really looking forward to removing the top of the Shock to slide the skirt over it. (That is what the oval hole is for).

We tried dropping by earlier, but your gate was closed, so I turned around. It looks like you've been busy, great progress!

Sorry about that, it is open most weekends. Someone did find their way into the compound though. :D

I built/heavily modified a swingout tire carrier while I was in between my projects. It was bolted to the body and now is welded to the bumper and a 37" fits nicely. I would reinforce it more but that is what he wanted for now.
