What is the cable selector for on your shifter...I have tried to keep up with this build but may have missed what is was for.

5-speed chain-drive transfercase, it's a Shimano

The first inner fender skirt in place.


The Shock Hole got a whole lot longer.

It is a Rubicon Express kit.

I am down to the gibblet stuff that seems to take for ever.

Items are either at the powder coaters or ready to go to the powder coaters so final assembly seems to be taking for ever.

Rear hatch door hinges and hardware. Inner Panel is ready to install after I get the two broken bolts drilled out and the latch mechanism adjsuted after the hatch is adjsuted, etc.

Doors are getting new hardware as well as window channel, etc.

New Cowl installed. Drain tubes installed.


Front tranny hump installed


Heater box installed


Duct work and plumbing it in next weekend

Great job Dan. Your maken head way. what kind of cupler is that you used to connect the shift lever to the tranny top plate stub. If that make any sence.

It is the standard coupler for a Dodge NV4500 1-Ton 4x4 transmission.

Advance Adaptors has them in stock.

Passenger Side front fender Skirting is done.

Driverside inner fender skirting is done.

Skirting looks pretty cool in person.

It should protect the engine from water and debris.


I reinstalled the lower engine splash guard as well.

Got a Wiper motor to work. Luckily it was the "Big Motor" good one and not the stock one.

Helps when you bench test them with a good battery.

Those of you who have done the Big Motor upgrade have ran into the problem of the cover no longer fitting.


Installing the Big Motor/Big Cover would involve drilling 4 holes and mounting the cover.

LOL!


Nothing has been easy so far, so I got all Eshan on the cover. LOL

Lower Bib bolts are a pain so I made a Bolt Bracket assy and installed.

Time to work on the Duct work.

Many of you know that 2 1/2" silicon connectors are plentiful from several supplies. Many of you know that 2 1/2" connectors don't really fit the heater box or the duct work.

Sleeve them.

Duct uses the thin rubber.

Down pipe uses the thicker.


3M 8008 weather stripping adhesive is used to bond them.

I really did not feel like removing a bunch of stuff to drop my windshield just to drill a hole for the wiper motor wiring.


Weather Pack connector used to add some length.

Ran the wiring though the defrost duct. Protective sleeve used to protect the wires.
