Has anyone purchased fender flares from this guy? 92-97 Land Cruiser Pocket Flares

Seems like he has a good product, but before I drop $580 on them, thought I'd see if I could get a reference on them. If you have purchased how did they fit? How is the quality of the material? What is the install like? Appreciate the help.

The rear door gap on mine is crappie. You can get the same set on ebay for about half the cost. They all come from the same factory in China. I was in a bind and needed to hide a bad spot in the body I couldn't fix.

The pocket flares I sell are made in Texas, they fit, they come with hardware/EPDM trim gaskets, they can be painted, they will fit 93-97 mud flaps, AND they can be made with flat ends for those not running mud flaps. These are all features not present in the offering from China. Also, the Chinese flares I saw were based on the 92 flares instead of the 93-97 flares which means the Chinese flares are about 1/4" more narrow.

Thank you! Anyone have more experience with these from Alibaba?

Don't waste your money..the fit is horrible and I know because that's my truck on their site... I sent them pictures complaining about the lack of curve in their product. So glad I only did one side. I had a set of @jamisobe flares I pickup from a mud member and the fit is spot on. Line-X them and have zero issues.

The 5th picture, black rig with blue synthetic winch line is mine. I had no issues with fitment. Personally I am very happy with the purchase.

Have had them for many years, I have forgotten how many. An added benefit is they do a decent job of protecting the rear quarter panels. On a trail around Downieville, CA, I smacked the passenger rear quarter in a tight spot and all the damage went to the rear most flare. I destroyed the flare, but zero body damage. And unlike the China flares, Jamisobe sold me a single flare to replace, did not require a whole new set.

how do I get a set for my 97 FZJ80?

How do these flares mount up? Do they use the OEM retainer holes and do they come with the socket hardware for the body side as well as the screws for the pockets?

The Kut Snake ones I have are drilled into the sheetmetal using new holes and the fasteners they supply(stainless self tapping allen headed screws) Some guys use nutserts which seems like a lot of work. I just drilled mine and ran them home. No biggie.

Really stout flares.....I have a build thread going on somewhere in this forum with the ones I have.

How do I PM? New here

Click on my picture.....when the window pops up, it will have a link that says, "start a conversation". That's it. Easy.
