How did you hook up your bumper tail lights? Did you just splice off of the main tail light wires?

My dad, @SUMMIT CRUISERS, put his swing out on "The Green Bean" yesterday. We also tested out the new updates and features on his cruiser.

New features include a 48" Hi-Lift mount, machined billet aluminum spindle cap thus being a more reusable long term solution, and a new stronger gas strut. The new gas strut has beefier plastic ends than the previous monroes, and it can easily be sourced as it is identical to the hood struts on a 100 Series Land Cruiser.

Great looking kit you got there. Best thing you could do with the factory rear bumper.

Ever think about putting a receiver on the swing out for the bike rack, so it swings out of the way with the tire?

I built an attachment for the cooler swing out using some roof trays. I use it occasionally but my northshore rack and 4 bikes bouncing hard creates a lot of torque to the point where I’ve destroyed the factory cross member. The hitch is pretty dialed for the northshore and folding it down isn’t too big of a hassle.

@SUMMIT CRUISERS Jr -

I’m jelly of the Heckler (had one, sold it) - if yours is a L, LMK if you ever sell - I had the same yr just in blk/grey/orange.

To keep on-topic, I do like the carriers - was surprised Christo never made them in mass, plenty people were after them when he was concentrated on 80’s.
