I just got done popping a spare f155 in my buddies 71 40.
I set initial timing at 11, assuming it was the same as my de smog 60 2F.
It seems to want less timing. Should I back it down to 7*?
We live at sea level and we will be taking it up to Colorado next week.
Rebuilt carb, valves set, new intake manifold gasket and all the odds and ends. Idles with 20 inches of stable vacuum. It has a slight pop out the exhaust at idle. It’s set at 850 rpm with the lean drop method.
