Hello, my name is BOB!

I've been so tempted to do this. That's why I went for a simple 4x4Labs bumper instead of trying to chop the rear quarters and do a custom bumper. If I'm gonna cut, I'm gonna make it count. But that won't be till I decide I'm ready for Fordyce
I believe its the same lift as the OP :rimshot:

I'm on the FOR springs plus 1" spacers. But I just bought some 5" OME Comps and 2.5" Radflos for the rear to get that ass up in the air a little more

This corner is were all the damage is to my 4x4 labs bumper but without it no swing outs:(

If you can figure out a way to keep your swing outs and reduce the corner would be ideal

Phil,

I can see how that corner is weaker minus the spindle... With dual spindles in my labs bumper that corner is solid stock spindle on both sides. It's welded both into the top plate and the lower angle / bevel plate making that corner solid steel...

I had a WrX meet it's maker in a parking lot when they backed into my pass side corner of the bumper... Rear fender, light, trunk lid = 6K damage to the WRX...

As for me... A can of spray paint.

I have never seen you do anything half-tailed, so when you do it, we will be watching!

Carry On.

HAHA! Need to hurry up and hide these in the attic :D

Nice!! What are you using for coil towers?

Jose, there is a lot you do that I admire. Well, now I'm just jealous. :flipoff2:
Thank you sir. Just trying to keep up with that big boys :)
Where's the "not like button"...

Sooo jealous! Looks like I need to pull the trigger..
I think it's both of you guys' turn now!

Not quite sure yet. I like the Ballistic Fab towers because they don't interfere with the steering shaft, but Ruff Stuff towers are built like tanks. Downside is they require notching like @Booger weldz did, but in the grand scheme of what I'm doing at this point, that's nothing really.

Do the ballistic fab towers offest/angle like the one's 4WU uses?

Brian hasn't made towers for the 80 yet but yes, they would all sit angled back. The gold 80 we've seen pics of uses Ballistic towers

I'm gonna use this post as an future reference for me. Just an easy place to come back and find these pics. May come in handy for others to know how this all goes together. Credit goes to @sorensenjg and @bobbynelson0730 who now owns this bad ass 80!
