Mines a baby lol 96 1fz with 135k head gasket done at 125k runs like a dream

94 1fzfe, just rolled to 300,000. Original HG (knock on wood), nothing internal touched.
 
95 1FZ-FE 205,000 miles, original HG (KOW).
 
1994 380,000 mi with no motor problems or repairs. Got it at 208,000 and last owner said he only replaced the radiator. I have not replaced the head gasket and no idea if the last owners did but Carfax showed nothing.

Its a daily driver and have made several cross country trips with it in the past couple years with no problems.

I have had a bit of start up smoke for some time but it depends on what brand and type of oil and additive I have used. Some days there is no smoke and others there is a small to large blue puff but it only lasts a few seconds.

Motor is still strong. Towed a overloaded 6x12 Uhaul trailer from Grand Junction, CO to Canton, OH and it pulled the passes slowly at red line up the passes in first gear no problem. No overheating or trans problems.

I can tell there is some loss of power when going over the passes. Vail pass East bound use to hold 65 all the way, now sometimes it drops to in the mid 50's. When I hit the top of Eisenhower Tunnel my speed drops to about 50 mph.

Wont pass Denver Emissions but looks like I only need new cats to pass as it was very close to passing. I would of passed under the old emission guidelines but they lowered the NOx from 5.000 to 4.000.
Side note. I removed the cats and soaked them in Dawn dish water and sprayed Seafoam on them. After that the exhaust smell has changed to the smell that was like when I put a new cat on my FJ60. Not sure if that means anything as I moved away from Denver Smog Check and did not retest after the cat bath.

My last emissions were:
HC GPM 1.1171 2.0000 is max
CO GPM 13.6469 20.000 is max
CO2 GPM 740.9514 no max
NOx GPM 4.8085 4.000 is max Max was 5.000 and I would of passed if not for the lowering of the NOx.
Not bad for an old motor with original motor and cats.

Would like to know what a new 80 emission was? Take that and average to my current emissions and average. Take the emissions that are required to make the batteries for the Prius and emissions to recycle them and and to build and recycle the rest of the Prius and see how it compares to the 80.

I have no history prior to 224,000, but based on the condition it was in at the time I am very confident that the engine was never touched...nothing looked as if it had been maintained.:mad:
After gobbs of baselining, it runs strong. I would jump in and drive cross country without hesitation.
 
1991 3FE, 274k, only did a valve adjustment. Beaten and abused with no remorse since 220k.
 
1997 1FZ-FE. 220k miles. Replaced starter, belts, plugs, hoses, oil pump gasket, valve cover gasket, dizzy gasket. Little bit of smoke on start when cold. Runs great.

92 3FE, 343,000 miles, original engine, original radiator and its always seen green
 
neatus cornered the market on engine rebuild kits and just got 55 suckers to jinx themselves.:flipoff2:

Turned 244K on Golden Spike this past Cruise Moab
The rest of the miles were spent going back to Jersey.
