1991 3FE-just turned 200,000 with no rebuilds. Plan to adjust valves this summer, but other than routine maintenance, very few issues. Cool idea for a paper.

Okay, so just a quick number for you all. Of 60 Land Cruiser owners we have an average of 223,xxx miles on our vehicles. Most of which were never rebuilt or had a head gasket done. If yours was rebuilt I only used the mileage at which it was rebuilt. I did the same for a head gasket replacement(not that that is a huge deal) since it does require a major part of the motor to be removed. One thing to note is that most of these vehicles are still running without any major repair. That is pretty cool. I would like to ask this question five years from now just to see how much longer some of you could go without major repairs.

We want to read the paper when you have completed it. I'm not much help my 92 3fe only has 99k miles on it.
'97, 1FZFE with 137,400 original miles
97, 1FZ-FE 119K miles, only regular maintenance (just replaced the original plug wire which was still usable), running strong and smooth.
95 petrol rebuilt 220k, burning oil. Running good now.
1996, 1FZ-FE, top end rebuild at ~165,000 miles (head gasket, valves, etc, new rad, hoses), some other gaskets and minor parts since. Now at 180,000 miles and going well, knock on wood.
1996 187,000 still rolling with original plugs, wires, cap....no issues
'91 1HZ 247,000 miles, no major repairs.

I appreciate you wanting to read my paper but it will be a C quality paper. I don't think I could be proud enough of it to put it out there for public consumption. I have the new baby and school is only high enough on the priority list to barely get done much less getting done with high quality.Also, I don't need any more mileage reports. I have the number I am going to use. If ya want to keep posting them then cool but I can't use any more. Thanks dudes, ya'll are awesome.
