Did my first oil change with the skids in place. Just had to remove the 4 bolts for each of the access points. It was easy access to the drain plug and oil filter. I have a Fumoto drain valve and use one of those adapters for the oil filter housings so no mess at all.

I also completed the TC skid install. I won't go into too much details since @Tex68w did a great write-up already! The TC frame bracket bolts weren't too bad once I got my extensions setup. I did the install in HIGH mode on the LX and for me it was easier to reach for these bolts with my feet facing the front while lying down on my back on a creeper.

Everything lined up great and the frame bracket and leg looks great and strong.

Nice! Already missing a couple screws I see.
I couldn't put them in after taking off the set once. Believe I may need to retap the screw holes.

No worries. I backed out one insert halfway on the trans skid when installing the transfer case skid. Didn't notice it until the next day because it was dark. Noticed after I took a pic and saw that it wasn't sitting flush in one spot. Because it's the first skid to go on, I had the pleasure of taking all of them back off to fix the insert. Then re- torque every skid screw again. That was fun and time well spent. I need to get a Makita battery powered ratchet to add to my tool set .

Gotta say it looks good though.

Nice to see them getting use!

Defiantly chase\retap M6x1.0 and use a new screw.

I don't even have skids in hand yet, but I cannot say enough good things about my interactions with @turbo8 so far. Quick and clear communication is ALWAYS appreciated, and he's been knocking that out of the park.
Agreed! He is such a good dude! Reliable, communicative and all around super helpful!

@turbo8 is top notch people for sure.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the feed back.

For the next batch I probably will adjust the front skid to allow more protection of the power steering cooler and the lower radiator. For those that already have the skids and are interested in this, you will get a very good deal.

This will also allow easier transition for filler plates to other bumpers. It will defiantly integrate nicely into my low profile bumper when I'm done. :)

If we can make it work with my Dissent full bumper then count me in. I was thinking I was gonna have to make my own so hopefully this is a viable option.

I'm interested. I still have my Dissent filler piece I need to use.

Don't worry, when I said very good deal, that means free. 😉
Amazing, amazing, amazing seller is all I can say! Thank you for helping me be a "responsible" adult, and answering all my questions! 🤣

Hopefully I'll get to install all my skids this weekend, barring no issues or hail/hurricanes/tornados!

Haven't had a chance to install the skids this past weekend, but making some time over next 🤞 Will add some photos once installed.
