I think it's funny how some people talk about the ARB drawer stoppers breaking all the time. I've had ARB drawers in my 100, my grey 200, my red 200, and likely going to have a set in my current truck. I have never broken a stopper, and my drawers have always been loaded up with stuff with a fridge on top. All 3 sets have been quiet, relatively easy to install (the first set is a PITA - just throw away the instructions unless they've been updated since 2014 which is unlikely), and look fantastic. I think the stopper issue is a red herring personally, but if someone is truly interested, just do your own research and don't take any one person's opinion as fact.
IMO the ARB drawers actually look
more OE than any other option on the market, and I've seen a couple sets of Trekboxx in person. The Trekboxx is nice, but I personally do not like the finish on it because it's simply Line-X bedliner. Some people love it because it's easy to keep clean, but I'm not making dinner in the back of the 200. Try putting a dog on top of bedliner finish - no one is having a good time with that. Also the Trekboxx base bravo system does not have a roll top option I can see, so keep in mind that means you'll have to buy a fridge slide which is quite expensive or step up to the alpha system which is way more expensive. The ARB modular units give you the option to do a single roller top, dual roller top, dual fixed top, etc. for significantly less while looking more OE. The bravo system with wing kit is $3,170 plus tax and shipping (which I understand can be quite expensive and there is a decent lead time), and the ARB dual fixed top plus wing setup is $1,761 plus tax (but shipping can be free depending where you order). For $155 more, you can get a single roller top ARB saving quite a bit over paying for a fridge slide. So I would say the bravo system is about double the cost for a product you may or may not find to be aesthetically as pleasing.
@jerbintennissee as you can probably tell, this is a topic people feel pretty strongly about and has been beat up pretty good on this forum if you search. This is a good comprehensive thread on it (
Trekboxx Drawer System for 200 series). I suggest to determine your budget, analyze the options with real world feedback, and consider the source of people's opinions as you weigh the options. If someone has a $5k drawer system in the back of their truck, they're going to be more likely to say it's the greatest thing in the world and everything else is inferior. If someone has a sub $2k drawer system, they're going to say you'd be crazy for spending more. Look for the facts not the hyperbole and spend what you feel comfortable with not what you think other people think is the best. Not saying this is relevant here, but also be cautious when people are sponsored or get free or discounted gear to push a certain product and consider their opinion may be biased.
