So the 80 is notorious for atrocious leg room on the drivers side. Everyone knows it and to date there has been only one solution - the Land Tank conversion that is, to be honest, a fairly minor fix and kind of a PITA to install. Well, that changes today.

We've partnered with a certified seat bracket manufacturer to build brackets for the 80-series that allow for installation of almost every single aftermarket seat out there, as well as ability to drill holes for custom applications. What's special? We designed them with a built-in additional 1.5" of leg room. We also have seat slides available that add another 4" of leg room, making the seat extension so long that even a 6'3" driver can barely reach the pedals.

These brackets are done and ready to go. If you're interested please respond. We are offering a 1-time 10% discount for Mud members plus shipping. Special offer pricing below. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Brackets:
Driver's side/Passenger Side: $126 each

Slides: $90/pair

We are also now a national retailer for Scheel-Mann seats. If you spend time in your truck it's a worthwhile upgrade to get quality seats. The seats pictured below are our first set and are a generic black but we are currently working with the manufacturer to develop seats to match the 80-series interior. Pricing and details to come soon. If you have any questions about the seats in the meantime please let me know.

Do you know of any seats that offer up and down adjustability that would work with this as well? I was looking at the Corbeau option but I didn't see any adjustable seats (aside from reclining). Looks real nice.

I'm not aware of any seats off the shelf with that adjustability but can inquire with our distributors. As another option you could definitely add spacers to raise the seat up and down.

I guess I'm confused (not hard to do), are you saying the seat bracket or slider you offer is to be used with an aftermarket seat OR will they work with/for the OEM seat?

sub'd

Is there any loss/gain of seat height with the brackets or sliders?

X2 on the fitment of sliders/brackets with OEM seats (both power and manual versions).

Sorry for the delayed responses here guys, been crazy around here.

The bracket we have developed is designed for use with an aftermarket seat. The bolt pattern will accept Recaro, Corbeau, Cobra, Sparco, etc. However, there is room on the bracket to drill for custom fitments. I will need to look at it to see if the factory seats can bolt up to it. That wasn't our intention originally, but it may be possible. With powered factory seats you'd probably want to stick with that system rather than try to convert it to a manual slide. We don't have any manual factory seats to test out.

No loss or gain on height. See above re: mounting factory seats.

Website link? Picture of the bracket?
I'm working on better pics now and will have them on the site soon. I'll post another pic shortly.

Yes, we can get them. There are many upholstery options, including a dark gray leather, vinyl, and cloth that match the interior almost perfectly. We haven't color-matched for the tan interior yet but will be working on it.

This would become way more intriguing if they are able to work with OEM seats. For myself anyway.

Nice, a package deal with a driver bracket, slide and new seat would be good. sub'd

The bracket looks like it's got plenty of extra metal in there for customization/drilling holes to suit. I hope this product sticks around for a while since seats are not in the budget right now, but on the eventual to-do list.

If this would work with the OEM manual seats I'd be interested. I'm 6'1" and although I can get comfortable enough it would be nice to have the additional leg room on long trips.

Just over 6'2 myself and agree

Absolutely.

Absolutely can do. I'll PM you with pricing info on the Scheel-Mann seats. if you have another seat in mind please let me know. We've been running the new Scheel-Mann's in our demo truck for the last few weeks and they're insanely comfortable. Changes the entire feel of driving the truck. Big time upgrade. It's one of those things people don't think about as much in trucks, but makes a giant difference in ergonomics, stability, and looks.

It's not going anywhere. now that we have the fitment in the seats will be readily available on demand.
