There is no "go out", I stand behind my products and one were to fail you'd have a replacement (10W or 42") in the mail the following day, given I had one on hand.

Ditto.

Spressomon! Your vertical wash problem is solved, as well as excessive foreground light. 32" in light fog the other night.

(Edit: first and last are the same. Can't delete at attachments on iPhone)

This is the new design you worked on shown in these pics? If so that's really impressive over the older version!

Yep. The photo is the combo, so the spot will have even less foreground.

I'm wanting to upgrade my road lights but have a question - is the LED light bar legal to be running in conjuction with low beams or in place of high beams?

It seems very confusing. I'm in Ohio and checked with the DMV website which states, "Auxiliary driving lamps—Any motor vehicle may be equipped with a maximum two auxiliary driving lamps mounted on the front at a height not less than sixteen inches nor more than forty-two inches above the level surface upon which the vehicle stands."

I'm thinking about 1x20" LED or 2x4" cube LEDs on my brush guard. I would do the HID conversion but it seems this would be much much easier.

Like I said I'm wanting more light for regular road travel and don't want to blind anybody or get a ticket.

any thoughts or reviews on ebay bars, like this one? Looks promising...

I just recently purchased one of these. Looking forward to getting it. From my experience (10+ years in semiconductor and electronics sales) all of this stuff is made in china anyhow. So IMO it is not worth it to purchase from USA vendors as they are simply importing and reselling the units themselves and making a profit. I am sure others will disagree with me, but that is my take on it. I would look for a bar that has cree led's as the quality will be better. I actually ordered a ton of different led lights for my 80. The final setup should be really cool when I am done. I got 4 rectangular units, 2 square and one large 20 inch light bar, all for under 500 shipped.

I ended up just throwing 2 rigid 2x2's onto my brush guard. Little suckers throw out a lot of light for their size and I'm pretty happy with them.

bumping this

anyone with some more feedback and night pics :D:D

First shot just low beams.

Do you guys use your light bars for road driving? Or primarily while offroad?

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

Off-road only, for me.

for me only off road. these light bars are obnoxiously bright! (in a good way). they are especially good for finding/setting up camp after dark, blasting down desert back roads and washes, recovery situations, etc. I was just out for a week in WY/UT/ID and they were a nice bonus to have. that said, I do have DOT legal amber fog lights for snowy, foggy and dusty on road conditions.

only use mine for off road... waaaaay to bright for in the city
