Whoops. Should have read through the thread first.

Sorry UZJ, didn't mean to step on your toes.

Just spoke with my agent in China today. I've had him on a project to find me the highest quality LED light bars in Guangdong, and it looks like he's found a reliable supplier.

I'm getting specs and a sample sent to me, so I will report back on my analysis.

No worries, no hard done. The Rigid copies look nice, and are truly a replica, however that is where it stops. The optics are different in many ways and they generally have a poor light pattern. I have seen the Auroras, the 52" version is incredibly bright, but the smaller sizes are not that impressive. I do admit, they look killer

Nick,
when you have time, the customer has given me the go ahead to purchase all the lights we discussed.
i will need a total emailed to me so we can get this underway.
also, will need a wiring diagram sent over so i can prewire the lights. as i mentioned in the email, i am doing the wiring on the truck this week and next.
cheers and thanks for the insight
Wayne

I agree with you BUT most likely the rigid products are not solely made in the USA. I would be surprised if they were designed, sourced and assembled in the USA. Most likely they are designed here but built in China.

Ho Chi Minh was Vietnamese, not Chinese.

i buy quality, i don't care where it is made.
if American is quality and not a rebadged off shore unit with the American gouge tax added then i will buy American.

we drive Japanese and if you own a cruiser then your statement has no merit.

Just happened to check in on this thread this morning - glad I did since it is the last day of the GB!

Typical, uneducated racist comment.

This comes from a guy who's fj was assembled in either Japan or China lol.

Do it Troy! most of the people i have interested in your lightbars are on here anyways!

I'll have to gauge the interest first.

This last group buy may have killed the demand on here for a while.

Produced, assembled in Mesa Az by American workers who are offroaders who stand behind their product.

Maybe at least after the first of the year. But I ordered a pair of pods, debated whether I had the dough to spend on a lightbar too, and decided to be frugal. I'm already kicking myself...
