Then decided to sandblast and use Mastercoat on the inside of the upright brackets..... slows down progress, but the right answer.

Man you have skills !!!

Had a warm day, so did some sandblasting and a little disappointed…. but all can be fixed.

This first picture is on the top rail. I cut open slits in the top rail to sandblast inside and it is peppered with holes. Very glad I did this though. I will use 3m panel bond glue to glue stainless scraps over all these holes and then use that silver primer again over the inside then weld the flaps shut....

Corner glass had similar issues, so will do some cutting and replacing, and the lower section under the big window had similar rust on the lower 90 degree angled area; however, I will just cut that all out and replace the section.

In for the whole dollar….. Welded the rifle rack holes shut, use the 3M panel bond to put in some stainless pieces to cover the holes, added some Bondo on outside —making the holes even, then use the master series primer and fiberglass where needed…..

just glad that stack of roof's is no longer in my garage! Hoarder.. I think i still owe you a windshield front mount to windshield frame? and did you find J hooks? I am not in a hurry to find them but I imagine i have enough left to cover your build. Looking good!

Have not looked in the stash for hooks for the rear section to the tub... I recall needing some windshield parts, but don't recall which ones. We can hang the doors soon -- as well as the windshield frame ( I will need help pulling the windshield out). I have windshield hinges that need drilled out, so will get that on the short list to be ready.

Started the bottom edge corners.

Not the best fitment on the driver side, will have to cut it out… and reshape it ..

Oh, out of order, but this is the upper edge inner that I replaced.

Passenger side I decided to do in place, and nail down the angle…. Much better

Question… should this be flush or does it overhang? This is the front edge for the door would you meet…

@tornadoalleycruiser talked me into doing the quick change hinges.. however, these are older versions, not sure if they changed…. Regardless … we found on his 45 that may be on older cabs, they hit the tub. Luckily I’m not in paint yet, So I spent some time with a file making the opening larger.

Also used @Tank5 advice and started working on the plumbing for the gas tank. 1.5”. Now I need to find some material. Note, I will move the breather to the top back corner. Or does it need to be lower?

PVC OK to be used for fuel lines? If so then you've just made my plumbing job easier!
