Been a crazy summer so far and I apologize for the lack of updates but last week we successfully completed the rubicon trail in the 250! Directly after 2 weeks of trails in Colorado we hit the rubicon trail and I have to say I am impressed! We made it through with no issues and it handled it quite well. We went with a group of very well built 80s and it hung with them just fine. Took some bypasses but also tried a lot of the harder lines that even some of the 80s opted out of. Everyone in the group was skeptical myself included but in the end we were all impressed with the performance and durability! I was also pleasantly surprised to find it drive straight and well after the trail as well.

Keep an eye on our ig and YouTube for more videos.

Nice group of 80s

Thanks for the video and comments. I think a set of 4:88's would help with trans temps as well as compression braking. Imagine it has 3:73's in it now? sucks they missed it on the cv's and would love to see a 9.5" rear in there.

Any thoughts on a rear track bar relocation kit to raise it up some for better on road handling?

Is the front diff a HP design?

Dissent appears to be working on a production-model version of front and rear bumpers:

Yes sir. Should have one mockup up next week. Here’s a little teaser!

With Ben's post-Rubicon review, I pictured the Toyota engineering department erupting in cheers like NASA when the Mars rover landed safely.
