Very interested, excited to see more info.

Are you planning to utilize the stock cross member or replace it with one integral to the skid? I don't like the idea of having to remove the cross member to drop the skid. Though my factory skids and cross member have taken a beating.
That is the plan, in hopes to keep the cost down and make installation and removal an easy process.

I am definitely in for these. Ill need them when my bumper comes in!

Am ready for another trip up north . Count me in. Been waiting for this a while. Aluminium

Dang- a year late for me. Will be interested to see how the belly skid design comes out. Ive got mixed feelings about my slee belly skid- and the pita it is to access TCase fill & drain, access the ujoint for lubing. Any substantial drive shaft work, the whole belly skid has to come down and disconnected from the T-case.

Glad your still investing R&D in 100s

Definitely in for a set. Probably aluminum, but could go for steel depending on weight/cost/strength ratio/etc.

So I don't assume I"ll ask if the aluminum will be significantly lighter than steel. Now assuming the answer is "yes", I'm interested in the aluminum skids.

Yes! Looking at about 80-90 lbs for all 3 in aluminum and about 200lbs in steel.
This should ease anyone's concern about the aluminum being strong enough. The aluminum version will be 1/4".

Yes, ease of access and ease of removal and installation is key. As with all my products I try to focus as much time on these aspects as looks and strength.
This seams to be a key aspect lacking in the design process for many.

Is it too early for ballpark cost? I'm NOT holding you to whatever numbers you say here! I understand there's a lot involved in producing anything!

That drawing looks great! Even more excited now.

You should laser cut your logo into the front skid plate.

It will be comparable to similar options, probably even a little less.

+1 on interest. Aluminum & 4th piece connecting to front.

Will you be considering making a 4th piece to match up with the 1" body lift front bumper brackets?
