I would definitely be interested in some/all plates depending on cost as well. That looks awesome!! Your Sketch-Up skills are second to none hahaha! Just curious, does your plasma table come with a software that allows you to use a Sketch-Up (.skp) files to cut, or do you convert it to DXF? Fantastic work as always Ben!

Thanks! I wish I was that good with sketch up! My cad guy Alex is the guy behind the drawings. He takes from sketch up over to qcad and and converts it over to 2d and dxf. It's a bit of a process.

Great product idea Ben. i'd be in for these and a set of aluminum sliders before bumpers. Will there be an access panel for the oil filter like the factory cover?

Thanks.
The access for the filter will be on the side however I have always preferred removing the skid as I have found even the stock access not very easy let alone the access in other aftermarket skids.

I would consider cutting a hole for access to the filter, and for the drain plug. There isnt any down side to it, and competitive offerings have it. You dont want that to be the one reason someone chooses another product over yours.

I know the downsides to the skids I have, so dont hesitate to reach out for suggestions. For example, access holes to common service items: make them large enough to get a man’s hand through. The access holes in my skids are made for child size hands, making it tough to get a tool or grease gun on fittings.

Take your time and make it better than everything else out there.

I have to admit, I have come to loathe my skids. Here are the reasons why:

#1 They are extremely heavy, have to remove them with the help of a jack.

#2 The 3 piece design sometimes makes a challenge to line up all the bolt holes. I don't tighten them up untill I have a few threads on there but it is still a challenge. Wish there had been some kind of channels for them to line up or something like that.

#3 They Rob me of an inch of clearance or more. In other words with diff drop they go almost an inch lower than that. I cannot figure out why?! No reason. Should of stopped at the diff drop.

Looking forward to these Ben. Will have to list mine and get these hopefully.

I will have access holes on the sides and drain holes, also this skid will be easier to remove if needed. I hopping to get away from the access hole in the front of the skid for multiple reasons.
I feel if the side access works this will be an improvement over others.
I personally can't stand spilled oil on the top side of the skids so I have always removed the front one for service but there will be access to do an oil change without removal if desired.

Sorry you have had a bad experience!
Do your hang 1" below the rear diff drop crossmember?
Imo skids are probably one the most difficult pieces of armor to design and build. There are a lot more things that need to be taken into consideration rather than just bolting on a heavy chunk of steel all while keeping the cost down to a price people are willing to pay.
It's a slippery slope.

I can imagine. The front sits lower than the already lowered front diff drop had to use spacers. I know the purpose was to Match the back transfer case cross member plates but maybe some steps I think would of worked? Dunno. Took a pic so you can see what I mean.

That is odd. The only reason spacers should be needed is if a diff drop compatible skid plate is bolted up to a vehicle without a diff drop.

Count me in...and just in time...I'm budgeted for skids in my current round of mods and would love to have something that integrates nicely with my bumper...

Looks fantastic as always Ben, count me in!

Thanks for all the interest guys!
I will go ahead and start an interested list on the first page. Let me know if you want to be added or removed.

This will be a list of people that would be interested to get it on the first batch.
As far as aluminum goes the more I get the better price so the more on this first batch the better the price will be on the first batch.

I'm definitely interested as well. Please throw me on the list.

I'm interested in an aluminum 4-piece set
