Bits arrived today... of course after I had left work (admittedly for a funeral) but the logistics guy lives on the route home, so a detour there to pick up the parcel and it was build the last bits up before final fit out:
- 50mm of spacers for the steerer tube, then get that cut down, put star nut in and tighten head set
- finalise brake and gear cable lengths (which may be do nothing on the brakes, as there isn't that much spare hose really),
- tighten up the calipers once they are centred on the disc).
- tighten the disc bolts with the torque wrench (didn't have 1/4" socket in the house for the T20 bit, but did have the little ratchet for the T20 bit)
So, all on track for a ride on Saturday...

Funn Stryge stem (60mm), Ritchey Buzzard bars, some grips that were lying around (and the pedals came of wife's old bike in the UK - some 15+ year old Shimano SPDs that have hardly been used), WTB Ranger 29 x 2.4 tyres, saddle from Giant Talon mountain bike (take-off at the shop)
