Got in ~40-miles and 3K-feet gain along the coast today. Checked out Windansea and climbed Soledad Mt. Nice 82F and 90% RH day in SD.
Man that looks splendid right now. It was 103 in Dallas today and 107 yesterday!
Schools starting back, holiday crowds thinning out and weather has been great. August and September are good summer months for SD.
Friend of mine moved out there from Texas a few years ago. I still hear from him on days like today about how much better the weather is over there!

First time on the bike since August 11th. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel as I was off the bike and spin bike while in vacation. Did my 8.25 mile loop and ripped it. Dang, fresh legs and lungs.
On vacation I did have 3 days of 11+ mile daily walks, so maybe that kept me in form.
Tuesday spin day, long ride Wednesday.
