A spectacular after work loop. Really great run after or before work. Bust through. Rideable 363 days out of the year. 🌞🌞🏜️🏜️. Also great for testing mods.

I really have this idea to host some LC owners down here to ride. I think it would be super fun. 3 days:

Day 1: Salero Canyon/Alto Ghost Town (35 miles/. 2500 elevation—. We call it the Purgatory Run: 🍄🟫🍄🟫 Proposed bike: single speed MTB. Hardtails.

Day 2: Arizona Trail Single Track. (40 miles/3200 elevation). Proposed bike: Geared MTB hardtail.

Day 3: Parker Lake/Montezuma Run: 75-100 miles/ 6500 elevation). Proposed bike: ATB. I did the 60 in Fall 2023 single speed MTB. It's very single-speed friendly. Another good option.

(We start at between 4-5k ft on any of these runs)…

Anyway, just a hi-dea I’ve been mulling. Would be fun to **** off and do something other than Land Cruisers.

Went for a quick mid day ride. It has been too long and felt it, but it also felt great. Bombing the long hills are so fun.

Sweet bike! I hang with the Pivot folks a lot as they are up the road in PHX. They come down to do testing in our area for their road/gravel/e-bike offerings.
I’ve had the Mach429Trail for 7 years. Every winter I have it retuned. Fork, shock, and bearings. This bike rides like brand new. I have never had a bike like this. I bet over the last 28 years of mountain biking, I’ve gone through nearly 10 bikes. None were like this one. It’s like downhill skis, you can really carve the turns and just feel solid.

8.25 miles this morning. New England rocks and roots were wet whole ride through from yesterday’s soakers. So, had to back off speed a bit and release a couple psi out of the rear tire. All in great ride, though a bit slower than I like.

I’ve changed a bit of my ride schedule now that I am retired. So far, it’s a 30 minute hard spin class, ride the mountain bike the next day, then rest day. Then repeat. At the most 5 spin/ride days weekly. Maybe alternate 4 days/5 days per week.

Through the summer anyway.

HAGW all!
