Before the snow . . .

I am really bad about taking pics when out on a ride. I usually have my phone in my back pocket and never touch it. I went on a little pre-thanksgiving dinner ride. Felt great, bike was wonderful and the weather sunny. So I took the flashy 80s steed for kicks. :)

Love that yellow. Reminds me of the Slee Short Bus that my friend Kirk owns now.
I love that the short bus is still kicking around :)

i think it does. i haven’t gone tubeless yet as i’ve just been too lazy but that’s what most guys do i think. i’ve never had a flat yet but i guess i should be prepared. that’s not really a problem i should figure out on the go 🤣

haha, not trying to put the fear in you, but my first thought was "I think I would die out there if I flatted" 😂. Hoping for many more flat-free miles for you! Those tires look substantial, probably quite difficult to puncture one anyway.

yeah a flat would suck. the hands kinda get used to the cold especially with all the kids sports gear i have to help put on and adjust. i can go about 10 min before i need to put them in my pockets to warm up. you can get a fair amount of stuff done in 10 min. they are pretty tough tires too and when riding the snow there’s not a lot of stuff to puncture them. no cactuses where i ride anyway!!

Rented a giant trance e-bike from Krank cycles out of Makawao.

Was ok but will hold on another e-bike for a while. I think they have a ways to go yet. Works well with the fat bike but just too much weight for a full suspension IMO.
Rode the kahakapao trail loop area.
