Looking forward to a little 25 mile charity ride for pancreatic cancer this weekend. Great cause and we get to ride thru the Point Loma Naval submarine base up to the Cabrillo monument.

Rode the Singlespeed today - 14.5lbs - 52:17gearing and did a super chill 43mi./3300ft down to the Golden Gate Bridge and up hawk hill 5x repeats for some climbing fun. During the early days of Covid i swapped this from a 26"mtb to 700c - laced up some Lightbicyle carbon 45 rims to some King hubs with Dt. Aerolites---swapped out the fox squishy fork for a carbon rigid cross fork and pressed in a TI Cycles headtube extension 20mm which dialed in the geometry to about 74.5deg seattube/ 74headtube angles. I drilled a selle italia flite saddle down to 90grams and drilled some Cane Creek levers and currently only have a pair of Extralite V-brakes up front. *really need to move/weld the rear posts from 26" position to 700c spot. It sports a U.S.E. 140g carbon post and a 130g Easton stem/100mm. Cranks are 180mm XTRs - 52:17 is nice ratio for climbing days over 7000ft.....52:16 on sub 6000ft days when theres more flats and i want to slot in with roadies doing 24-28mph in the flats. 30mm Contis in the rear and 28mm Vittoria Corsa Next2.0 up front. Its built like a Landcruiser....change a few wear items like chain and a cog and brake pads once every 3 mo. and its good for 800-1000mi a month and 60k-80k ft of climbing.

Made a mistake and stopped in at YETI headquarters on the way to the trail. Damn, probably a bad move and they have some great sales on bikes with non SRAM transmission sets, would just need to add later if I wanted… HMMMM

Actually liking the 160 radium frame more than expected.

Thought about taking a demo for a spin but headed out to hall ranch and stuck to the 150. Boulder county all time favorite.

One of many crazy lines there. Hard to tell the size and drop of this line but insane….
