this was a couple years ago my wife and i did a fat bike trip. this is my favourite kind of winter riding for sure

snowmobile trails through the forest between lakes. a friend of ours plows a winter road across our lake so it’s a great ride too. i can do a 20km round trip and never leave the ice!!

Quick rear cog swap out for some better single track climbing down here….

Then 20 miles AZT single track with Em…. I’m always blown away that the AZT is literally 500 ft away…. Super lucky….

Got in a quick ride on the fattie. Surprised coney flats was open and had a couple tracks from trucks that made a nice snowpack trail. . Not able to make it far on the trail yet. More pushing than riding…

And he got to see progress on the BJ74–>HZJ74 conversion.

Back on the YETI on a local winter time trail near the house, Devils backbone. Surprisingly the riding legs not completely gone. Must have been the 10’s of thousands of squats picking up strange orange balls people pay stupid $$ for all month… amazing weather and recent snow completely gone.
