Awesome man! Already to the coast and up Hood! I get nervous driving my 40 around La Pine! LOL:D

hehe :D

I am half tempted to pull the manifolds off today and get them resurfaced and get the heat riser in good order today ( I un-seized before enough so it was not always blowing hot air up )

See how I fee after i head to the gym haha ;)

Get the gasket between the two first.

Thanks man

Cool I will double check if I have the gasket.
I believe have the one for the block and the manifolds, but not between each manifold.

Have the heat riser free enough where i can move it to hot from cold with my fingers by the counter weight, little sticky here and there.

But i cannot remember which direction the wire coil goes on the opposite end...

Does the wire coil expand with heat or contract ( idiot here )
Maybe i need a new coil wrap.

Are you having the machine shop un-seize your heat riser man?

I will take it all apart as I will want to look around, I will do what i can and they can't do much more. They will blast it if you ask, bolt it up and machine it.

They do all my manifolds and heads.

cool man

If you take off the heat shield /screen around the heat coil ( opposite the counter weight )... can you take a photo of the direction of the coil wire is wrapped?

( the part that heats and cools to move the heat riser valve )

Supposed to be rainy the next 5 days, maybe i should take it off and have em machined :D

Your bolts come off easy?
Presoak em the night before?

Coool man :D

Destin, Cruiserparts.net used to have NOS heat coil springs on their site. Thanks to you, I now have a sweeeeet set of seat covers from AATLAS, and I was wondering what you painted/finished your seat frames with? Did you paint, or go the powder coat route? I am tired of riding around on a milk crate, and need to get started on my next project. Thanks, Brendon
