Round mirror lnib

Destin,

If want I do have a Toyota Round mirror like new in box that I'll sell for $30 shipped. Not trying to talk you out of getting one from Shane, just providing another option. Can ship out on Friday if you want. BTW the part # I have is 87901-60020. I went with rectangular ones for my FJ-45, part #87901-55011 (convex). Build is coming along great, congrats!

Truck looks awesome! Quite a transformation from the first pictures you posted. There's nothing like driving with the windshield down:steer:. It really makes that F engine feel fast. Brendon

Dropped a spanner under the truck and went to pick it up.
FUEL FILTER
the filter before the pump full of ******* sand blasting sand.
fawking unbelievable!!!!

So i need to what pull the tank and flush it?
How does one go about that.

PISSED!

other than that i am happy with my doors :D
anyone have a source for the wing window rubbers?

I don't know what to say after the fuel pump/carb thing.......you gotta be beating your head on the wall......

would have been nice to get it boiled out at the radiator shop before it got paint.......I might still do that and get it repainted......otherwise, take it out.....drain, hit the inside with high pressure water.....rinse, dry.....repeat.....couple times.....

Robert Furman has the window rubber.

Don't panic too much about the sand. Replace the filter and keep an eye on it. You may be making too big of a deal out of it. Sand blasting is a horrid job and keeping sand out of places is near impossible.

For now, go buy 2-3 filters and replace it and keep an eye on it. You will be fine.

ps. I love the cruiser man. It really has turned out beautiful.

Destin ,dont take any chances with sand or any other media that may have been used.I just finished blasting an intake for a small block chevy and have washed, rinsed, blasted with air several times thinking it must be clean, but everytime I washed it ,more sand appeared.I am being very careful because,I have heard of engines being destroyed from a bead blasted intake manifold! I would do what Jim said and boil the tank and repaint unfortunately. On the bright side I think an f engine can digest just about anything and still run!

I am not sure if those new seals will work on your windows???

They are for bug-catcher type windows, but for the hard top doors, and hence my hesitation to recommend them for your soft doors...I'll wait to let Living In The Past weigh in on this one...

thanks guys :D

Yeah I took it down to landcruiserNW and they put it on the lift and drained the tank ( I did not have anything to jack it up to get a five gallon gas tank under it hehe :D )

Anyway, have a bunch of inline filters and I am just gonna swap em out as needed until the sand is gone :D

Runs like a champ now :D

I see you already figured out it's not the same. I'm been lucky for some reason all my doors seem to have pretty good weather stripping on the non-opening vent windows.:meh:
