oy so here is the low down.....

changing my plugs, gapping em, all is good, start up sounds way better

Dropped a spanner under the truck and went to pick it up.
FUEL FILTER
the filter before the pump full of ******* sand blasting sand.
fawking unbelievable!!!!


So i need to what pull the tank and flush it?
How does one go about that.

other than that i am happy with my doors
anyone have a source for the wing window rubbers?

I had the same Issue with the sand blaster sand, Sand never got pass the OEM filter though.
I finely got tired of cleaning the fuel bowl, pulled the fuel tank out flushed It out with a garden hose ran a air hose through It for about an hour put It back in the same afternoon really thoroughly flushed the fuel lines clean the filter, about a 4 hour Job. I now check the Glass bowl Regularly,about a year later never had a problem since... good luck

Runs like a champ now!

Great to hear you are motoring about and having fun. I too am enjoying my "runs like a champ" fj. It really is nice. With our warm (38-40) sunny weather today I spent an hour or two just driving through the woods at a comfortable 20mph and taking in the pines, snow, and puddles. I have to say I far prefer the 4 speed to the 3 on the tree however. I would appreciated doors, a heater and maybe even a top on days like this.

Too bad you are not closer, you could of pulled me out of a snow bank I got stuck in today. I got pulled out in 10 minutes by a neighbor, I felt kinda silly but so what.
