Let me know if you run across a Tecate one..

The color looks great btw..

They are custom care of Mark at Cruisrcrap.com, mmw68 here at MUD. Look in the Vendor Marketplace.

Greg, I do have a second one, but it has a TEQ cap on top.

I've got two of his TEQ shifter knobs. They are slightly larger in size than the original 40 series shift knob, but are otherwise awesome. They really feel great in the hand, especially when it's chilly out for some reason.

I think I need to buy more, as there's a black one in Dad's 40, and one of the clear red ones in my faux-lux. I don't want the HJ-45 not to have one.

might as well get me one too :D

I now have both in hand. My TEQ is red, while the Pacifico is black. The TEQ is just slightly larger than the Pacifico knob. I ran the red knob in the 4Runner for the heck of it today and it did feel good, but I didn't like the red color in the 4Runner. I'll use the black one tomorrow and see what I think.

No shame Mark. At this time I think I'm going to run the red TEQ on the H55F, and the black Pacifico on the TC. Thought I must admit, the black Pacifico looks real good in the 4Runner.

As far as clashing, I think I have it figured out.

At the risk of more encouragement from Mike, I'll give a mini-update. I received a package in the mail yesterday. Inside this box was a little bit of comfort for da'40. Considering this is a soft top rig, and considering it gets cold in the winter, I splurged. Inside the box were heat elements for the seats. Yep, da'40 will be warming my buns on those future snow runs.

I also picked up two more doors and the windshield frame from the sand blaster at lunch today. Back to painting.

Seat heaters?

:princess:

Do we need another intervention? I thought you agreed to spend your money on actually getting it running as on a trail, rather than frivolous options.

I'm speechless.

My disclaimer corrected.

Seat heaters?

:princess:

Jon: I personally wouldn't admit to those.

Instead I'd post an update that you were so busy grinding that you wore out multiple grinders, and that somehow the welder also died from manly overuse. And somewhere in there I'd chop down a tree or buy a bulldozer.
But I should talk to you about the seat heaters, I've been "encouraged" to put them in my 45 by the chica.

I'm sorry. What was that? I didn't year you.

At the risk of more encouragement from Mike,

Until recently, I never owned a car with seat heaters and that option seemed frivolous. Connie's car came with them and the few times she lets me ride in it they worked well. My '94 daily driver has them though that wasn't something that I was looking for but now I am a convert. Those darn seat heaters are handy on cold mornings when the '94 stays outside all night.

My name is Mikey and I fully endorse this accessory for da'40.

I KNEW IT!

You bought the Sedan Cruiser in order to keep yer buns toasty..............

Jon,
You must not be as cheap as me and have not acclimated yourself to colder temperatures. In order to keep the PNM bill as low as possible, my thermostat is set to 58 during the middle of the night and day and I 'warm' the house up to 62 in the early morning and late evening for our 'comfort'. I don't need no stinking seat heaters. Just wear more layers.
