I'm getting a 62 front axle and since I don't own a 62 I was thinking of cutting and turning it turnkey with perches and all hardware welded back on. I know most people say that perches need to be welded back on when it's on the vehicle. I just thought it would take a shot.
1. If you could get it just with the knuckles turned and all hardware removed and cleaned up with new perches ready to be welded on with the fill plug rerouted up to the proper postion what would you pay?
2. What would you pay just to have it clean and a cut and turn?
3. What would you pay for a full turnkey cut and turned axle housing?
4. And what might you pay for a complete front end cut and turned with birfs, hubs, brakes, all new seals and bearings with the diff. Where all you have to do is unbolt the old and bolt in the new?
Just curious.
