brian lets talk this weekend about when i can come down and help you out...... you need to be on this trip :D

Taylor (my boyfriend) and I are in for sure. I know that Dan is coming as well.

It's my birthday trip!!! I can't wait!!!

We'll all be up Friday whenever we are leaving. We all took the day off work.

I'm in...

Probably Friday morning whenever the rest of you leave. Not sure I'm going to be able to bring the family. Don't think I'll be able to get my daughter out of school on Friday :frown:

Looking forward to it!

it is good to see we didn't scare off you GA cruisers at Tellico :D

On aside note, any one that has friday off, are you up for getting there early friday morning and doing some exploring of new trails before the main group gets there?

How scared could I get... I didn't have to drive!

I just strapped in and enjoyed the ride.

Fri morning start works great for me. I might try to drive to Greenville Thur night.

cool steen, it be nice if we could get an early start and try some new trails out..... it isn't something I would want to take the whole group on as we move to slow, but a couple of us could cover a lot of ground....... are you bringing your 40 or 100 :D

JP - How early are you talking for the exploration duties on Friday?

you know it really depends on If I have to lead the main group in or not, because if I do I will have to be back out of the trails. So I would like to start exploration fairly early say 9ish. However if some like Marshall or Concrete could lead up the afternoon group and the exploration group can stay on the trails and just meet the other group at camp I would say noonish....... don't know if that makes any sense :D

there are a couple of new trails I have been wanting to try out, that according to the rover guys are a little more challenging :D....... plus it is cool to blaze new trails

I think we can get up there pretty early, but I need to check with the dog sitter. Taylor's family has a mountain house in Sky Valley (which from my calculations is only about 40 miles from our meeting place). If the dog sitter can do it, we'll come up there the night before and leave out from there.

Anyone else is WELCOME, we have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, pull out couch, all that good stuff.

I'll post up when I know....

I'll be bringing the 40... assuming I fix my blinker gremlin... and another doesn't pop up in the meantime. Ugh... how "challenging" are you talking?

Do you have directions? I may be better off taking a different route up than through Greenville if it's only 40 miles from Sky Valley?

In any event, I'm there Friday morning :bounce:

this trip will be easier than the Tellico by alot....... don't worry I'm not capt. Ahab :D there isn't any thing that hard on this trip, don't fret

*edit* I just looked at your rig and its stats in the "members rig section"...... you will be more than fine, espcially if you put that EZ locker in :D... much of the trail you won't even need 4wd*

talk to John (infojunky) about the best route up from hotlanta....... greenville would def. be way out of your way

I agree...I mapped it and the best route from ATL is through Dillard (past Sky Valley).

So, Steen, if I can work it out, you are welcome to come on up for the evening at the mountain house. I hope that we'll be staging there and heading on....

That sounds like a great plan if it works out. Thanks for the invite.

Now... blinkers!!!

How much are FJC's????

Dillard it is (about two hours if I remember correctly)! Side note anyone know where the microbrewery is in Dillard?
