Been a little while since I last posted but made some pretty major changes last year. First I found a Vidmar 13 drawer for my hand tools. This was my first Vidmar experience and (WOW)! I was hooked.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving and I found a guy on CL selling a lot of them. Ad had no pictures or prices. Just said “large heavy steel cabinets”. Come to find out they were actually Lista cabinets that were as well or better made than the Stanley Vidmars. He had 2 that were 60” wide 60” tall and 30 deep. And 1 standard 30X60X30. I rented a trailer and drive 4 hours to pick them up.

Painted them to match the others and started loading them up with tools. The big ones weigh about 750 pounds empty!

I also consolidated all my bin files under my workbench. Most of my hardware is now in one place!

Oh! And I got a forklift (kind of). 1500 pound Big Joe. Can lift up to 55” and best of all… it stores behind my 80 and only takes up a little floor space!

Definitely “lifetime” cabinets. I don’t plan on moving all of this for a while and then only once more. I can’t even wrap my head around they. As for finding things… the label maker is an essential tool here!

Congratulations…just ran across this spectacular shop….
