**ISSUE**
Truck has major brake failure. It is a known issue and happens to most eventually.
$3000+ to fix at garage
Truck has no brakes, there is an audible alarm that does not turn off until fixed, along with dash lights
4Runner has been sitting for 6 months. Battery is dead but will start right up. Before brake issue, the truck ran perfectly. I feel the engine and transmission has many many miles left. I am the second owner, bought at 140,000. First owner was a family in VA Beach. everything works except brakes, no rust at all. I have ran synthetic oil for last 100k and mostly highway miles. last timing belt was 180k. Both headers have been replaced, last one about 2 years ago, first about a year before that.
Truck sits in Chester, I am leaving to go to South Carolina and have no desire to deal with it.
4Runner has the plastic cladding around wheel wells. hard to see in picture
All stock except the 5 2012 FJ Cruiser rims in top condition, bought from an FJ owner up in DC about 4 years ago.
New Headlights
Interior in good condition
I do not have title in hand, saw it last about 4 years ago when I moved. Title is clear, no liens.
Would be a great parts truck.

Here is an '06 w/ 140k mi at $22k, but I would check the undercarriage closely to make sure the "rust protection" isn't covering up rust. I see rusty bolts and some texture to the frame rails that could indicate a problem.
Here is a '96 with 136k mi for $16k, seems mechanically sorted but you'll want to check the undercarriage for rust.
'97 with 311k mi but seemingly less rust than I would have expected. Bad head gasket, but at $3k, this may be worth a look?:

The price has changed several times. It was as high as $5000 and as low as $2995. I'm not willing to pay $3000 for an unlocked 80 knowing that I'm going to have to do major work right away.

Someone offer half what he's asking? I would but I can't afford to spend that money right now with what we have going on
I would pay $2k because I'm confident I could part it out for at least that much.
