Just give it a yank. It pops right off.

yep, I would bet he has done this a few times. pull from the back and work your way forward

added a new MetalTech rear bumper, the pictures don't show the fuel can holders and cut some rubber for new mud flaps to help keep stuff off my new trailer box.
Next I need to get some heaver duty springs and get my lift where it should be. right nowI don't even need the front diff drop.

So I have done much to the GX, I did replace the Kenwood with a Pioneer NAV unit, but I have been working on my trailer. The picture to the left shows the old box, and my post above shows my new trailer box, now I have added drawers, I ran the wiring and covered the wires (lighter colored wood) and add new LED trail and brake light, plus running lights and now interior lights.

Love your build! Do you know which adapter they used for the Idata link maestro? Their site does not list one for a GX 470.
Same year Toyota 4Runner, have the shop program for that and it seems to work

Finally got around to the GX again, test fitted a Demello Off-road front bumper. Want to add a hoop and some more metal to the lower part to protect the window washer. The bumper fits well, needs a few more adjustments.

Since this bumper doesn’t protect the windshield washer bottle, looking at add some metal like what the Cardboard and tape show
Last picture shows what it might look like

or do I pull the bottle and put an aftermarket quart bottle in?

Bruce, what are you going to do with the fender liners? I just folded mine back and zipped tied for now.

The same as you, zipped tied up until I decided just what to do with the water bottle.
