this passed weekend/week I installed RCI skid plates and Metal Tech/Radflo 3" lift.

Skids where picked up with no finish, I painted them with Por-15 paint. The install was easy and the fit was very good, I like the way they interlock with each other.

Are these RCI skid plates for 4th gen V8 4Runner? Didn't see GX470 products on their website. Thanks and nice build!

They are RCI skids and sliders for the 4Runner same gen. I have the full set and fuel tank.

Thanks

New rotors & pads and front calipers.

So i've seen that many have gone with the Power Stop Severe-Duty stuff. I don't have much experience with brakes so please forgive the stupid question but is there any risk of overdoing it? I don't know that i'll be doing any heavy towing any time soon.

No risk - you can't hurt anything by having awesome brakes.

I did that, because I live in the mountains and pull a 2000-2500 trailer a lot for camping

Not sure that would be called over doing the brakes

Many are swapping to GX460 front calipers and rotors (150 platform) on the 470.

Rear is not an upgrade. The front adds diameter and thickness to the rotor, and the calipers are much bigger and are not prone to the sticky nature of the 470 calipers. Everyone that has done it has been impressed and happy with it. I plan on doing it the next time I need brakes.

So today I added a power panel to the right rear, have not hooked it up yet. 10g power to the battery for the fridge and then jumper the for the USB & readout.
Wood poles are to build a area over the fridge

Rear area is get closer to completion, just need to build a small box behind fridge.
Top cross bars are easy to remove to put stuff up there.
Storage box on left, dog bed on top of it. Dog bed can be move to the right if needed and I can sleep on the left if needed.

GX470:
Front Brake Rotor Diam x Thickness (in):
13.3 x 1.10

The GX460 has 13.3" rotors as well - unsure on any thickness difference, though:

Nice. Which bulbs did you go with?

Local shop sells them, lifetime warranty, $117
They where plug and go. there is a small box inline between the factory connector and the bulb connector, mounted it to the fender wall and was done, took 20-30 mins with moving the battery to get everything done on the left side.
