Which rear disc brake kit did you end up going with? Was it a one stop shop where you were able to source everything from one supplier or did you have to track down parts from various places.

I went with JT Outfitters kit. I used it on my last 40 build and was pleased with it. I know there are some bad reviews on here about JTO, but I have never had a problem with them, and will continue to use them until they give me a reason not to. Took about 2 weeks to get it, but that's kind of normal now.

Rockers are patched up and floor pans are mocked up. They will be ready to weld in by tomorrow afternoon. Firewall is tacked into place. Need to pull the body off the frame once the pans are done so I can tweak and fully weld it.

Working on the pass. side floor today. Getting ready to cut the mid bed's turned down section out and patch in new metal to hold the floor pan.

Left the house at 4:30 this morning to go grab this soft top and bow set in Greensboro NC. The bows turned out to be Paki and the top, I believe is an OCD. Its faded, but it will match the 40's sweaty look perfectly.

I bought it just for the top. The bows are a bonus! I have OEM bows and doors already. It was definitely worth the 9 hour round trip.

Are u selling the bows. Looking for some
No I'm going to be keeping them. My OEM one will need some repair, so it will be nice to have an extra set to use while they are being repaired.

Chuggin' along on this snowy morning.

Got out in the shop for a bit today. Firewall got fully welded in and got the front motor mounts from Cruiser Outfitters in. The rear mounts are putting up a fight. May have to cut the bolts out. We shall see.

Started the teardown of the carb core a little while ago. Not pleasant.

☹️

Looks like a chunk of the hardface is gone from the roller bearing.

So, it's been so cold here the past few weeks, and I want to get some painting done. I decided to build a "paint booth" on Saturday. Turned out better than I thought.
Also changed my mind on what frame to use, so the '70 frame got prepped for paint. Just have to do a little welding on it first. Then I will start switching everything over.
