Im curious what the cost of these soup to nuts is. more or less than recaros(which I dont think make great lifted vehicle seats, JMO)

More than recaros from what I've been able to gather. However, I think for Cruisers they would be a far superior seat to a Recaro. I agree with you, Recaros are a great seat in a sports car, but I haven't liked them as much in lifted trucks. Seating postions are too different.

Those Disco seats are nice!!! so are the Jetta's

I was looking for black Disco seats for a while before I stumbled onto the Jetta seats. Been really happy with them! So much more comfortable than the factory seats. Seating position is about 1" higher. My wife, who is 5'2" likes the seats but they are a bit high for her and put a bit of pressure on the back of her knees since she's short and the seating position is higher. Otherwise, thrilled with the swap.

actually thats not bad( I mean its bad ,but) because the recaros I was shopping were 3grand a piece.

A few threads have been very useful to me over years, many of which are threads like the recent suspension coil and shock thread that @GWNugget started with a list of many of the available suspension options available and all the specs etc.

I wanted to add a similar one for a topic that hopefully some will find useful. I know I did a lot of searching and wading through tons of different threads trying to find info on seat swap options. I hope to gather as many of those as I can and include them all here in one place (along with the links) so that anyone researching seat swaps can find most of the info in one place. I'm sure there are probably other options as well but I'm including ones that show photos of finished installs. Feel free to add to the thread if you have other seats that work.

Well I’m going to go out in a limb and say anything from another vehicle would not be a direct bolt in. I’m sure you can make them fit if you really want to. It’s all about how much you want to fabricate to make it work and make it safe.

Im going to take a shot at it, they are inbound. I like the corbeus but they arent made all that well.

How do you like these seats? Compared to the way the stock seats fit a butt? I really like the fit and comfort of even my completely worn out seats but my frames are trashed and im looking for a good replacement that will feel roughly the same.

so far the seats are great more support than the custom cloth seats I had in it. the only thing I dont dig Is I wish they made them a little better ie: when you lean the seat back it will not come baqck on its own. lil things ya know. Ill know ore after I do my 30 day road trip with them now remember Im 245 lbs 38 waist and I have to jump and pull myaelf up in the rig as its got a 7 in lift(ish) and they are breaking down from sliding out etc. but I am careful when getting in and out. if that helps

Just making sure I understand, are you talking about the Corbeau seat in this paragraph? I'm assuming that the LR seats haven't been installed yet.
