Now your just screwing with me. So does this mean ALL year 200 Landcruisers have the same cup holder? Does the LX570 have a different cup holder for all years or did they switch and share the Landcruiser cup holder at some point.

I'll take pictures and post when I get home from work tonight.

My little theory on why the added a “corner” to the driver’s side cup hole in that one photo is because it would make a phone more stable in there with the square left rear... But... :meh:

I received mine in the mail today. I can confirm that do not fit a 2009 LX.

I ordered the polished and painted and they look great.

I cannot wait for the version that fits these LX’s

I’ve mailed my 2010 LX cupholder out - it’ll be there next Tuesday!

This was the statement I sent to @CharlieS about the dip down on the one side of the cup holder hole.
"The OEM cup holder on the one side does dip down. I originally designed the inserts to follow that curvature and two major issues showed up. The big issue was that the side of the insert was now much lower and made drinks unstable. They wanted to tilt towards the lower side during a turn. That is no good and defeats the entire purpose of the new inserts. The other issue is that as the edge of the insert dipped down to follow the curvature of the hole that top surface looked really bad. 3D printers work in layers. If the top is curving down then you don't get a smooth curve down. You get step downs from one layer to the next. It looks terrible and requires a ton of sanding to smooth out. That increase labor which increases price. I would have to increase price and take away function by making that side "tippy" only to follow the factory lines of the hole under the lid. That just didn't make sense to me. Hopefully that makes sense. You have to give and take in the r&d process in order to meet your goals of creating something functional."

Well... something doesn't make sense.

@CharlieS says he has a 2013 LC just like mine, yet your cup holders fit mine perfectly:

There is no "dip down" on one side.

Something else is going on here.

I believe I can see it here:

If you remove it, and look at it from the side you can see whether it is as dramatic as mine is.

I'm pretty sure you both have the same console. He was just asking about the one side of the inserts that stay flat on top where the console drops down about 1/4". If I dropped the one side of the insert down, the cup becomes super tippy. Look closely at the inserts and factory cup holder hole. You will see the drop in elevation on the one side. See pic. The other issue under discussion is that the LX570 has a totally different factory cup holder hole. The outstanding questions is if the different cup holder option is for all year 570s or just certain ones.

I just want to say for the record that I am super happy with this solution. I think it is well executed and am appreciative that BH3D made this for us. It is 1000x better than the factory setup. I’m overjoyed to have it. Thanks, Brad!!

The left side drops about 1/4" right where the red circle is in the pic above.

You are absolutely correct - I stand (humbly) corrected:

I never saw it on mine because it looks perfect from the driver's side perspective. I also think the sanding and painting attenuates the problem.

Certainly not an issue - great cup holders!

Sorry to have contributed to any confusion.

Just restocked the inserts again on the website. This time it comes with a disclaimer/warning. If you own an LX570 DO NOT buy the current inserts. I now have the different options correctly set up on my website so you can see the LX570 option but can't add to cart. It's set up as "coming soon". The Landcruiser inserts are in stock and can be ordered now.

Here are the pictures from my 2008 LC. provided 1 that also has the part number just incase it can help.

I just ordered mine in raw plastic. Looks like it will be perfect. Thank you for offering these. @bhicks

All, just a couple of thoughts / observations to add to what others have already posted. I received mine and they fit exactly the same as other LC owners (sorry LX'ers!) in my 2011.

Overall, this is a huge upgrade and am thankful for @bhicks contributions to the LC community!

My primary use is for coffee mugs. I noticed that the Yeti Rambler I normally use will no longer fit in the new cupholders. Regular cups from your local coffee shop, however, fit even better - no more wobbles or tippy cups! (posting a couple of picks of the cupholder in action) . So, I'm in the market for a new go-to coffee mug which is a small sacrifice to the over benefits this solution offers.

And, while not wanting to derail the thread entirely, I will ask for others to post up photos (and details about) water bottles, coffee mugs, 7/11 slurpee cups ;) or other - ahem - beverage options that you have found to be enhanced with the new 3d cupholder inserts? Post 'em up!

Good to know. Will wait patiently for the LX570 option. Why did Toyota make the cup holders on the LX and LC different? Anything special on one or the other?

Just to clarify, can these inserts hold a standard "disposable water bottle" snugly?

Love the effort to remedy these for the 200 community. I'm definitely in for an order if a solution for the LX is developed.
