iPhone X in a tech21 case. Also fits my XR in a tech21 case, which is ever so slightly larger. Very secure, not going anywhere. If your phone is much bigger, especially with a case, it’ll be tight!
That's exactly the measurements I new were problematic. I didn't want to make a phone holder that doesn't hold certain phones on the market. Phones continue to get bigger. In a few years there wouldn't be a single phone on the market that would fit in there and I didn't want customers angry when they bought it and there phone didn't fit. I have continued to expand my phone slots in all of my cup holders over the last 7 years. With many of them, I can't go bigger. I now have a minimum size requirement and that space was bellow the minimum. I do love the fact that you modified it to better meet your needs. I'm always excited to see what others come up with when modifying my products.

The cup holder is just a bit too tight for the coffee mug I take to work... fits but then pulls the cup holder out as well. What have the people that received the holder done to make sure it doesn't pull out with a cup? Thinking of just using velcro. Wanted to see if anyone has done anything else

I completely understand. It’s tighter than I thought it’d be, but also when I asked I had a smaller phone that was uncased, hah. Your logic clearly makes perfect sense, and when I asked I sorta figured it was already a consideration in the design.

It was a learning experience sanding through that much of the cup holder, I had no idea the intricacies of the design. Awesome of you to step up, design, and produce this solution. Super satisfied, thanks!

Velcro would work great. If you want something more permanent then you could use some 3M automotive adhesive. That sticks to plastic really well but doesn't let go once set up. There is also the option of just setting the insert back in it's hole if it comes out when removing the cup. I use a large thermos in my 80 series cup holders that sticks to the insert due to how snug it is. I just pull the insert off and put it back. Takes one second but could get annoying if it was a daily used cup. I only drive my 80 a couple weekends a month to go wheelin or camping.

I'll start with velcro and see from there. Because it's just barely tight enough to be snug in there and without your inserts the factory slot is way too big to hold it in place and just moves around a bit. It's a very first world problem that I shouldn't really care about. Good thing is it's not my daily, but occasionally I'll daily and use for road trips. All in all the product is great and looks greay so please don't think I'm trying to talk bad about what you made.

Thanks for all the orders guys. I still have a few left in stock. I'm going to assume those will be gone by tomorrow morning. I will restock on Tuesday. After that I will get back to my usual routine of restocking once a week like all my other products. I have been restocking every 2 days just to get the initial rush covered.

I was just informed that these inserts were installed on a 2010 LX570 and they did not fit. I thought the consensus was that although there were differences in the console; the actual cup holder area was the same for all year 200s and LX570s. That seems to not be true. I need to get to the bottom of this asap. I'm already working on getting the 2010 LX570 OEM cup holder shipped to me to get the correct changes made to fit in this one. If someone does get a set of my inserts and it doesn't fit then let me know. I will make sure the other option is released quickly and will get it swapped out for the correct one. I will not leave you hanging with something that doesn't fit. This project is now at the top of my priority list. It's weird that I just shipped out the 50th pair of inserts and not one person has mentioned a fitment issue. Wondering if it's only in the LX570 and for a short time run.

Think it will be true of the 2009 as well, my cup holder doesn’t look like the initial pics either. Has a weird sideways ellipse shape on each side. And it’s is useless at holding any cup.

Just got a pic of the other cup holder version. Looks even more useless than the first design I worked on. What I need from you guys is the years this exact cup holder version was used. If you did buy one of my inserts and it didn't fit then I will take care of you and get the correct one sent out as soon as I get the design done. You may just need to be patient for a couple weeks. Here's the pic. For future orders; make SURE to look at your cup holders in your 200 and see if you have the version below. If you do, just sit tight and I will have this cup holder insert version available soon. Sorry for not getting both version out. I definitely got my facts wrong on options.

So the 2008-2010ish Cruiser and LX570 have this console option? Anyone got a 2011 they can snap a pic of?

Probably redundant, but just for the record...

I have 2008 LC and your cup holders fit perfectly

Now your just screwing with me. So does this mean ALL year 200 Landcruisers have the same cup holder? Does the LX570 have a different cup holder for all years or did they switch and share the Landcruiser cup holder at some point.

My 2008 LC fits fine.

I'm leaving this here in case anyone else has the same question, but I got an email reply from BH3D explaining the design logic for this feature. It is a compromise for functionality and utility, and completely by design.

My cupholder looks like the same as Gaijin's in my 2013.

As an extra tip, for installation, I used some 3M double sided tape on the front and rear vertical surfaces to tighten up the fit and prevent rattles.

I have a 2013 and the cupholder insert fits, BUT it is proud of the surface on the passenger side. I wonder if I have a different part number for my cup holder bin? And yes, I verified that it is installed all the way down and there are no foreign objects in the way.
