Stoked to see Chunk going to a good home! Glad you also got to visit Steamworks! Makes me miss living in Durango!
Durango was great. I am a big loudmouth about Michigan brews but I am not too proud to say Steamworks beers are really top shelf. Wish it was available here but I like their business model on keeping it in CO.

Crawling around Chunk now, getting aquainted. Sleep is overrated!

Glad everything and everyone is home in one piece...long haul.

Yeah man, glad to be back. Thanks again. A great truck is one thing, but sealing a friendship is the best deal.

Amen. Makes it priceless.

Chunk is still on the trailer, been raining all day so I unhooked the truck and backed into the garage at home when the rain started. It finally let off so I went to the shop and unloaded my Toyota diesel with a Toyota forklift there. Seemed appropriate

Uhhhh, well, typical for me, not really ready. I have been working on the hauler. It doesn't say "Toyota" on it and I think it gets treated poorly because of it, but it really has been a great truck. She has 276,000 on it which is not bad for a 7.3 diesel. I just have to finish going through the details. The headlights sucked bad (cheap ebay) and I switched those out (cheap amazon:)) so we'll see how that goes. Fluids done, have to rotate tires tomorrow, and CLEAN it! Then on to the trailer, then load up the parts 40, then make a cradle for the 12ht, then pack tools, then pack my gear, then pack straps, then pack the doggie essentials (food, leash, frisbee), and I am good to go! Going to head out at 4 a.m. Sunday or sooner.

Picture of Blackie. She really needs a Fender sticker to complete the Clapton reference. My favorite guitar brand anyway.

I agree on the sticker, but she deserves a another one !! PM me your addy !!

I'm SO curious to find out what was wrong with the 2F...you plan on digging into it any?

That head would be worth some cash if it's not the problem.

I will mess with it some. I agree on salvaging the head, or any other stuff that moves the project along funds wise. Kinda broke after 3700 miles at 12 miles/gallon. That's Cruiser territory! Seriously, no complaints, Blackie was so smooth pulling all that at 75mph I would swear it was made by Toyota. I had a great time and can't wait for the next adventure.
Tomorrow Chunk will get some attention.

I was doing some google image stalking and came across this cruiser done by The FJ Company. I really like the color scheme, even though white is my default favorite. I plan on the 61 style stripes anyway. Total copy job of the paint scheme but I don't really care about that.

Opinions on white vs. Olive (kinda yellow olive)?
