Why buy an accident truck ?
I don't see how I would buy a LC at "full book retail" that had also been in an accident.Depends on what the "accident" actually was, AND price, right? But if they are trying to have their cake and eat it to, which it sounds like they are from the previous post, best bet to walk out of that negotiation.
We almost bought a new LX350 for the wife, the tailgate had been repaired after minor damage, thousands off sticker (just missed it).
Toyota won't certify the vehicleRyan, In my area I need to go out 300 miles just to find 10 used ones to look at. The low mileage 2013 looks good in pictures and shut lines appear correct but History is history. I don't understand why Toyota won't certify the vehicle. However I can buy the Toyota platinum warranty because it is inside its 3yrs/36K B2B warranty. I offered around 53K for it. If it was at my local Toyota dealer, this would be worked out by now.
For reference I picked up a 2013 with 127k last month for $34k at a Toyota dealership. Mileage doesn't really matter me and to save $20k was worthwhile in my opinion because new or used I will put 100k on it and trade it. Might as well be the 2nd 100k when your talking about a vehicle with MSRP above $80k
Yes sir and they made good on my trade tooYou bought 2013 LC200 for $34k?
I'm sure they all drive similar.
